Art Gallery @ Lighthouse Festival is committed to presenting a combination of established, emerging, local and regional artists in a professionally curated gallery. Through this platform, we intend to support artists while further enhancing the experience of all visitors to the theatre.
With over 40,000 patrons attending the theatre per year from all over southern Ontario, featured artists benefit from a large, diverse and appreciative audience.

Lighthouse theatre 2023 | Stairwell lounge – port Dover
Julie Kent lives and works in Canada. She and her quadrupedal companion travel the country staying wherever library work is found. She is currently the CEO of the Norfolk County Public Library. Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts, Honours, English Literature and Women’s Studies degree from the University of Waterloo and conferred with a Master of Library and Information Science degree from Western University in London, Ontario.

Lighthouse theatre 2023 | Long Bar – port Dover
Cristina Zanella is a Port Dover-based artist who, for several years, was the art curator at the Lighthouse Festival Theatre. Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries in Toronto, Halifax, Brantford, Sarnia and various communities throughout Southern Ontario. She received her B.F.A from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Zanella has been the recipient of various awards including the Hazel Race Award for the Norfolk Visual Arts competition and the Peoples’ Choice Award at the Glenhyrst Gallery in Brantford.

We are pleased to feature an exhibit of work by Indigenous artist Kristen E Summers in our box office lobby throughout the 2023 season.
Kristen is a self-taught artist who has been painting for roughly 20 years now and has used it as a method for healing, self expression and, also most recently, creating body positivity.

We are pleased to feature an exhibit of work by Carole Black Brisley in our box office lobby throughout the 2022 & 2023 season.
As a visual artist, Carole’s passion for history and traditional values shines through. Her watercolour paintings and pen and ink drawings depict nostalgic scenes: stately homes with shady gables, flower bedecked cottages and gingerbread porches.
